30 Minute Full Body Home Workout

One of the top reasons women say they don’t work out is TIME. Which I can certainly understand, sometimes it feels like we just do not have enough hours in the day. Here is a moderate 30 minute workout that you can do at home. So wake up 30 minutes before its time to wake the kids and spend some time working on your goals!

This routine is a HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout. HIIT routines have become very popular in recent years given that they have been proven to burn calories the fastest. The only equipment you need for this workout is a timer. If you have a smart phone there are plenty of apps that are HIIT timers  (to save you the trouble of watching the clock). When doing a HIIT routine you want to perform as many reps as possible in the time allotted for exercise. Set the HIIT timer to 40 seconds of exercise, 20 seconds of rest for 8 rounds, with 2 minute rest in between sets. Here is the full body routine below:

  • Jumping Jacks
  • Squats / Calve Raises
  • Burpees with Push Ups
  • Alternating Leg Front Lunges
  • Mountain Climbers
  • Squat Jumps
  • Dips
  • High Knees
